Dr. Stacy Lackey

     Dr. Lackey graduated from Texas A&M in 1966 with a Bachelors in Science. In 1967 he received his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. He came to Casa Linda Animal Clinic in 1969. Dr. Lackey's continued areas of study include orthopedic surgery and dental care / restorations.

     Dr. Lackey is married with two children and two grandchildren. He also has two English Bulldogs, "Lola" and "Ollie", along with "Creamo" the cat.


Dr. Debora Charles

    Dr. Charles first graduated suma cum laude from Texas A&M in 1979 with a degree in Animal Science. In 1981 she graduated cum laude with a degree in Veterinary Science. After receiving her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M in 1983, Dr. Charles joined the Casa Linda Animal Clinic team. For over 25 years, she has enjoyed many long-term relationships with our clients, their families and their pets.

     Dr. Charles holds interests in challenging internal medicine cases and working with behavioral issues in dogs and cats. As one of the top wellness doctors in the nation, she enjoys every aspect of pet development from puppy and kitten hood to the senior years. Her house is currently filled with her two children Haley & Hayden, "Fat Mia" the Chihuahua, "Shelby" the Toy Poodle, "Murphy" the Scotty, and a Canary.


Dr. Tamara Johnson

     Dr. Johnson completed her undergraduate studies at Tarleton State University and received her D.V.M. from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2000. She grew up in the Dallas area and joined the Casa Linda "family" shortly following graduation. Her clinical interests include emergency/critical care, surgery, and internal medicine.

     When not engaged in veterinary medicine, Dr. Johnson enjoys reading, spending time with her family, and decorating. Her family includes a wonderful husband Heath, a neurotic lab "Kita", an energetic Jack (Parson) Russell terrier "Scooter", and two cats that love to terrorize the dogs, "Pandi" and "Turbo". She has two "two legged" children, Tristan and Camden.


Dr. Nancy Vrla

   The newest addition to our doctor team, Dr. Vrla graduated magna cum laude from Texas A&M in 2003 with a double major in biomedical science and marine biology. She then went on to graduate cum laude from the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. Dr. Vrla's special interests include hematology, cytology, internal medicine, and surgery. She also enjoys working alongside owners to provide their pets with the same care she would give her own animals.

     Dr. Vrla is married and has two furry babies at home, a black lab "Annabell" and a schnauzer mix "Ace".
